Radiation begins
As I write this post, our little warrior is resting comfortably. Day 1 of radiation started this morning and will continue every weekday for 20 days. I believe it is still too early to tell if any side effects will take place but for now she is sleepy. They had to use sedation today and probably for every round as she will not be still for this process. The area they are focusing on is in her abdomen… Very close to her kidneys. It is very critical that she does not move! It will be a long 4 weeks. On a brighter note, we are simply amazed by the support we received from this past event Fighting For Childhood. In fact I can not believe that there is now a song written for her.. I hope you all heard it at Townsquare. Thank you for the update. I guess, being sedated is somewhat better than it hurting her, I hope when she does wake up from her “nap” she is happy. I continue to pray for Jillian, and someday I will be able to make it to one of her fundraisers and meet this little miracle angel.

Jilli is such a strong young lady, I truly believe she’s one of the strongest people (child or adult) I’ve ever known, even though I’ve never actually met her! Keep up the great work Moore Famiy!
So happy they have a hard time keeping her still, it’s a sign she is fighting like a little trooper.
