In New York
Update… Brrrr it’s cold here in NY! Not too bad of a flight, Jilli had her moments and Sien was a perfect angel. And of course the girls captured the hearts of the flight crew. They were crowned peanut queens and helped pass out pretzels & peanuts. Then they got to visit the cockpit with the pilot. Thank you Karen! A late night, freezing temps, a snowball fight in front of the rental car building at midnight (the girls could not wait to play in the snow) and donuts at Tim Hortons in the wee hours of the morning. We finally arrived in our hotel room to find a Build A Bear for Jillian on the bed! What a sweet surprise! Thank you Shauna & Brittney for welcoming us to NY!
And another surprise…. We stopped for brunch at Crackerbarrel and a waitress informed us that one of their tables had paid for our meal! They wanted to remain anonymous…. Wth??? Shocked is an understatement. .I am so thankful for the generosity so many have shown us. SALUTE! -CIC Mom
