Round 3 Complete
We have hit the halfway mark through this first part of treatment. Round 3 of 6 chemo treatments concluded. Right now we sit here at St. Rose waiting for her blood transfusion to finish up and then we can go home. This round was a shorter one but stronger chemo. She was WAY more nauseated this time than previously. Wed & Thurs were pretty bad. Today she seems to be doing much better. Her Hemoglobin was low this morning, which is why we are getting another transfusion. Dr B didn’t want to send her home til she got a boost of blood. This is the first time she has been anxious about going home. She has talked about home for the last 2 days. It breaks my heart. We only get to go home for a few days; we must return next week to harvest her stem cells from her bone marrow. They will freeze them for use later when she needs them the most. But for today, we are good. This week was a tough one but we know we are winning the war. And that is enough for me. Keep praying soldiers…keep fighting. This battle ain’t over yet! Much love XOXO

Oh, Iknow the power of the chemo treatments as an adult, I can’t begin to imagine a little three rear old. Steve and I send prayers for her and strength to the family.
