Cycle 1 Day 13
Mornings are crazy in this house. Add Jillian and all the nursing duties I have and crazy is an understatement. I have been up since 6 and am now finally able to sit down with my coffee and write an update. Jilli is doing so much better having iv fluids overnight. I am finally going through many diapers as she is peeing like a racehorse! Which means that she is no longer dehydrated. She is back to drinking her chocolate milk and wanting to play in the morning. I gave her the whole slew of medicines she takes every morning and her final shot of GM-CSF for this cycle. Still have another 11 days to go with the Accutane pills. Already I notice how dry her skin is getting. The results of the xrays were good and the abdominal u/s was ok. Only thing noticeable was thickening of her gallbladder walls. Possibly side effect from radiation. I think we will be taking it easy today, I want her to continue on the upswing. Love and prayers!

Try a few drops of therapy quailty fractionated coconut oil on her skin. Healing and soothing, no smell, not oily.

Glad to hear she is feeling better. I was on Accutane as a teen and I took like 3x the daily dose of vitamin e to help with the dry skin. It really helped with the nose bleeds that the Accutane can cause too. Thinking of your family always π
