Cycle 1 Day 11
The frustration is beyond words. We left the hospital on Thurs and Jilli is getting worse-not better. She complains of pain, her throat hurts, she is not eating or drinking and she is lethargic. She vomited 3 times yesterday and has had diarrhea since discharge. She went in on Friday but we got no answers. At least she got iv fluids to keep her hydrated. Today she went in for labs and fluids but we are all just at our breaking points. She acts as sick as she was when we took her in to the hospital back in July. We can test her for C-Diff, she went in for an abdominal xray and ultrasound today. Her labs look ok but her urine was very concentrated. She is very dehydrated. We are starting her on Zantac for acid reflux, an appetite stimulant and morphine. Home health nurse is coming today to get me familiar with giving Jillian IV fluids overnight. Sure beats going back to the hospital. She only has 2 more days of the GMSCF injections and she started the Isoretinoin pills this morning. Already I notice her skin getting dry…. Ugh Lord help us get through the next 5 months of this. All prayers, love and positive energy is greatly appreciated!

I pray for sweet Jilli. ..I ask myself over and over how can God let this happen to kids….worlds innocent souls. I don’t know the answer to this, but I just keep praying and praying. GOD BLESS

My heart broke reading your post. But, we don’t have time for that. Let’s pray that this is a minor illness. Lord Jesus, lay your hands on sweet Jillian, and help her to fight this new symptom, and heal her of all her pain and suffering. Lord, look after Jillian’s family, give them the strength to keep going and help Jillian fight.
