CIC Mom interviewed about Pediatric Cancer Research

This post is not an update about Jillian, but she is doing well and getting a much deserved break after completing her 20 rounds of radiation.

Childhood cancer research has been in the news this week with the Senate passing the Gabriella Miller Kids First Research Act. It is the hope that this will direct more federal funding to the research of childhood cancer and other diseases that affect children.

10 year old Gabriella Miller passed away from brain cancer and used the remaining time in her life to advocate for change. She asked us all to “Stop taking and start doing.”
