Epic Weekend…
There really are no words to express what an amazing weekend it was with two events in Las Vegas and one in New York. Below are some thank you’s from CIC Mom and Great Uncle Mike:
From CIC Mom: And A HUGE thank you to everyone who made the 2 events in Vegas such a success..Too many people to list them all but you know who you are! Some recognitions are definitely in order though…The AREAA black tie gala at Four Seasons was beyond anything I ever imagined. Linda Naw put that whole thing together…no wonder she was stressed! Good job girl! Amazing Clowns was so generous to open up their facility to us for the music festival. Christine Wold I am so happy you took the night off from Cirque to be there for us. It was so much fun singing again with the guys from Blue String Theory. Jim Baich, you know you are my guitar GOD! I could not have survived this weekend on stage without you. Lisa Allen, Lisa Katherine Lamb, Sheryl Marshall, Kimberly Osterhout Henderson, Crystal Henderson Andrews, Paula Woolman, Wes Southerland… without all your help this wouldn’t have been possible. And to my mom, Dianna Lee Campman Cabrera you looked and sounded amazing on stage and you worked your butt off to make this MusicFest happen you should be proud. I love you!
From Uncle Mike: THANK YOU, THANK YOU AND THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!! To all of you who attended, contributed to, gave prizes, gave your time or donated in any way to JILLIAN’S ARMY FUNDRAISER ROCHESTER!!!! We raised a total of $8,793.91 for helping Jillian’s family with medical expenses. With prizes given back to us to donate we will EBAY them and should end up with a total of $10,000!!!!!!! A good time was had by all attending and WROC FOX NEWS came and interviewed Jesse and has promoted the continued support of Jillian’s Rochester family for our next event at BUGABOO CREEK Dec. 5th!!! Words cannot express the gratitude of the Moore and Cabrera families!!! A BIG JILLIAN’S ARMY SALUTE TO ALL OF YOU!!!!!!!!!
Aunt Paula’s Two Cents: Les Krifaton with Fox 5 showed up yet again to support Jillian at MusicFest and there was also coverage at the Black Tie Gala. We are blessed to have such community support. Thanks for helping us raise awareness of Childhood Cancer. Thanks also to John Huck at Fox 5 and Amy Young at WROC-TV Rochester. Dianna, you sure pulled off an awesome MusicFest, thanks Christine and Amazing Clowns for hosting it. General Dad reported back how amazing the NY Fundraiser was, thank you Uncle Mike and the entire NY Brigade. To all the MusicFest bands that played, thank you for donating your time and talents. So many people helped put together these awesome events, they bought tickets, bought merchandise, donated items, donated their time and most importantly they love and support our soldier Jillian. Please know that even if we forgot to single you out we appreciate every single one of you. SALUTE!!
