Round 5 Begins
Jillian’s Army update 10/7/13
Last week was quite a marathon troops. After 5 grueling days of trying to collect her stem cells, we have what we need. One major hurdle finally crossed. We had a wonderful weekend with some much needed family time and celebrating our soldier of the month’s 7th birthday. But now we are back at St Rose Siena getting all settled in for another week. Round 5 of chemo will begin shortly. We also have scanxiety week upon us. Dr. B has ordered another MIBG scan which will take place over the course of 3 days and maps out exactly where the NB cells are in her body. Once Dr. B has those results, there could possibly be discussion of surgery to remove the tumor. That’s all I got for now and frankly, that’s enough! Lots of love, prayers and white light…this week will be a tough one.
