Home Sweet Home
I am caught somewhere between Florida and Vegas time… Gotta love jet lag. It’s always so nice to come home after a long trip. However… This trip could’ve lasted another week and I would’ve been ok with that! The only bad part about the trip is Florida humidity and bugs… Oh and that you run low on funds pretty quickly in those theme parks. But an amazing time was had by all.
We spent Monday at the Disney Animal Kingdom. I wanted to go on a safari… My wish! Lol. And we met a few characters there. Tuesday was a day at Universal Studios and Island of Adventure. Jilli wanted minions and I was all about the Harry Potter experience… I am speechless! Only one word comes to mind… EPIC! Wednesday we spent our last full day at the Magic Kingdom once again. Riding all the rides and visiting whatever characters we missed on Sunday. We stayed late for the fireworks and the electrical parade. Thursday was all about getting ready to go home. We ate breakfast in the village at the Gingerbread house. Belle was there so I snuck a pic in with her while the kids ate with daddy! We did a little souvenir shopping which included buying another suitcase just to get everything home! Then off to the airport. The icing on the cake for Jilli was that her favorite nurse Adam was on our same flight coming home from his vacation with his family! What a coincidence! That totally made Jilli’s day! A limo was awaiting us at our airport to bring us home. And a nice surprise was waiting for us on our kitchen table when we walked in the door. My parents left a little welcome home arrangement for us! Including pumpkins, cinnamon pinecones, treats and beer on ice in a bucket! Then lots of slobbery doggie kisses! Feelin so loved! This morning I am procrastinating …. Emptying 8 suitcases, 4 carry-ons, laundry and other duties. Back to reality! This was a very magical trip. We are all so thankful to the Make A Wish foundation and Give Kids The World. These organizations really go all out to make wishes come true. We love you
