Major Delays
Hello to all our soldiers out there. After 2 weeks of good quality time together, Round 6 of chemo was scheduled for today. Unfortunately Jilli’s labs were not good enough for her to receive chemo but not bad enough for transfusion. Her WBC and ANC were not too bad but her platelets were not as high as Dr B needs them to be. Her body is bouncing back much slower now. She needs an additional week to recover before this last round begins. Sadly, this will now throw off our trip given to us by the Make A Wish Foundation. It has to be postponed til sometime after the Consolidation Phase of treatment (High Dose Chemo & Stem cell re-infusion). And since we have no way of knowing how long it will take for her to recover, it looks like our trip will have to be delayed til after the New Year.
