Round 3 starts Monday
After meeting with Dr B today, we have to switch up the plan of attack. Jilli will not be going to the hospital today. Instead, she will be admitted for round 3 of her chemo on Monday. This is will be two stronger chemo drugs that will blast the cancer cells but with higher side effects. The reason for the change is due to scheduling. She needs to be on the neupogen shots to stimulate her bone marrow so that the stem cells can be retrieved and stored for her transplant later on. This has to be done the first week of September; and includes another surgery. But Dr B says she looks great and he feels as though she is kicking some serious neuroblastoma butt as of right now!
