Vegas Visitor = New Soldier

Feeling grateful to have taken the opportunity to enjoy a little vacation to Las Vegas this past week. Reuniting with Family & Old Friends that I hadn’t seen in a long time … meeting new Vegas FB Friends … Enjoying the Music of so many Remarkable Entertainers whom I admire with Great Affection … hanging […]

Dr. B checkup and ANC 0

Jillian had one of her check up appointments today with Dr. B. Her blood work came back letting us know her ANC level is zero meaning she is susceptible to infection. All visitors now must visit with masks, clean, and sanitized. Her levels will come back up soon but for now it’s lockdown. Her next […]

Home tomorrow :-)

Jilli is sleeping peacefully through her last dose of chemo for this round. Dr. B came in and said that we get to go home tomorrow. Hip hip hooray! -Amber

Tinkerbell & Day 4 Round 2

Jillian had a wonderful visit from Tinkerbell yesterday! She was in super good spirits. Last night was dose 4 of her chemo and again she took it like a champ. She is having a little nausea this morning but still happy and acting silly. Her ANC (immune system calculation) is up from yesterday, which is […]

Round 2, Night 3

Jilli update for today: last night General Daddy maintained his post with Jillian. It was a rough evening. Dr B came in and had some bad news for us. The N-MYC test result came back positive… Her type of Neuroblastoma is N-MYC Amplified. Which means that it will be more difficult to treat, may not […]

Day two, round two update

Jillian had her second day of chemo this round. She was over tired at 11 and had a meltdown but we finally calmed her down and she slept thru the night with me on watch. Aside from her side effects after eating (which are now handled) she is back to her happy self. Her WBC […]

Minion-Crazy!

Despite some icky side effects from the chemo, she remains in good spirits. She went to the play room today with Miss Kathy and painted. Then she had a special visitor come to the room. I think she was happy yet a little freaked out at his giant size! But it was super AWESOME!

Thanks John Huck

John Huck posted this on his Facebook page: “Hey friends.. do me a favor and visit www.jilliansarmy.com. Jillian has stage four Neuroblastoma cancer and her father, a friend, wants to raise awareness. Keep her in your thoughts and prayers! Best, John” Thanks John!

Good Morning Warriors

Jilli slept through her chemo treatment last night and shows no signs as of yet of any reactions or side effects. Whew! Another day of battle won. Her surgeon checked in on her this morning and though she is stiff & hurting a little, she looks great and her spirits are high. And I believe […]

Out of surgery

Jilli just woke up from surgery and was a champ! Removed her broviac and put in her portacath. Now when she goes home she will not be messing with tubes hanging and we will have no tubes to flush. Round two of chemo starts tonight and it will run for 5 days. Thank you all […]
