September is coming to an end….
September 21st marked the 4th anniversary of Jillian finishing her cancer treatment.
As September and Childhood Cancer Awareness Month comes to an end, there has been some promising news in the passing of the STAR Act. It looks like funding for childhood cancer research will move from 4% to about 7% if the STAR Act gets fully funded.
This is amazing news, but we still hope you will continue to help fund research. 46 kids a day are diagnosed with cancer and 7 die.
Kids fighting now don’t have time to wait.
If you are looking for a way to help, Rob and I are hosting our 4th annual Childhood Cancer Karaoke Show benefitting St. Baldrick’s Foundation.
The show is this Wednesday, September 26th from 6-10 pm at Sunset Downtown which is a 21 and over venue. If you can’t attend in person or would like to donate with a credit card, you can donate online at https://www.stbaldricks.org/fundraisers/zookaraoke
Thanks for continuing to follow Jillian’s Army and supporting kids with cancer.
