Our fighter was back at it today. Jillian had a CT scan which required her to drink contrast which she handled like champ. Following the CT, she had the first of her MIBG scans with another to follow tomorrow. Most kids have to be sedated for these procedures but Jillian isn’t like any other kid I’ve ever seen. She sat still through the whole thing. Keep in mind that we are not above bribery because there was a Toys-R-Us trip between the scans.
These are her 3 month post treatment scans. After good results here, we can discuss having her port removed.
Now we all have our scanxiety ramped up until the results are in. Hopefully Friday. Please keep sending peace and white light our way! Salute!
