SHINE for a Superhero Walk is tomorrow
Hello Troops! I am so excited for tomorrow! Team Jillian’s Army will be meeting near the registration table at 7:00 am. Parking will be crazy so make sure you arrive early! Look for the red “Moore Strong” flag and the Jillian’s Army logo on our wagon. The address is 9275 South Buffalo – Exploration Park at Mountain’s Edge. Jilli gets to wear the “Survivor” cape! If you registered for the walk, and you ARE attending… Did you contact us for your Jillian’s Army shirt??? If you did, I have them!
In other news, Jilli is now wearing her new hearing aids! The chemo has damaged her high frequency hearing permanently. She is sporting her new pink “hearings” as she calls them. We knew that would be a side effect and were praying it would not happen to her but it’s better than the alternative. At least she is alive. She is now on her 6th and final cycle of immunotherapy which only requires her to take accutane pills. She will be finished with ALL treatment on Sept 21st… Then, that week she will go under for another bone marrow aspirate and have scans to see if the cancer has returned or she remains NED. Prayers needed for NED! Thank you all for your love and support! GO GOLD!

OMG! I just saw this and it’s right by my house! I am the student at 21st century oncology who dubbed myself her “Good luck charm” during her treatment. 🙂 I have since graduated but have not forgotten little Jillian. I have not registered but would love to join your team and make a private donation. Is this something that would be possible?
