A year ago today…
Today we are feeling thankful to be waking up in our own beds. So nice to be home. But only for a short time. We go back to the hospital tomorrow night for another 5 days. But today is a special day.. Today, July 8th, marks 1 yr of fighting. One year ago today it was a normal Monday morning. Until I took Jillian to her Dr for a low grade fever that wouldn’t go away. We were sent to the hospital’s e.r. for xrays and labs. I had no idea a year ago today how drastically life would change. I had no idea how close I came to losing my baby. And as I watch her sleep in her bed so peacefully, I am reminded that life is short… Live it to the fullest.

You and Jesse Moore have a very special little girl in Jillian. I’ve watched all of you going through the ordeal for the past year. All of you are fighters. You’ve all been an inspiration to me and Rowena Baraan-Krifaton
I shared this update with what I wrote below. I wanted to make sure everyone read it.

Praying! !
So blessed that she is a fighter and responding to all the treatments , this fight has changed my entire view of life and how precious it really is and how we fretted over other things were so meaningless, Jillian’s fight has brought out the best in humans that still blows my mind daily. I have no doubt that she will be telling this story to her grand kids and inspire others her entire life
I remember that day well. I went home, sat on my balcony and cried for your sweet family. I am so happy that Jill is doing well.
Praying continually for you all! Be reminded that were here for you! Take care cousin!!!
What a year you all have been through! So glad she has fought so strongly! Hoping for some normalcy in your lives again!
